Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, which was once described by Mike Tyson as "Too shitty to be Miami", I started my photography journey early on with little disposable cameras. Upon reaching High School I dove head first into their very unique photography program headed by a Ansel Adams' student turned Vietnam Vet whose ability to seem laid back while also pushing students to do better left me hungry for more.

Upon entering University of North Florida I entered their business program and, as I feel many do, discovered exactly what I didn't want to do. I shifted my degree over to the arts. Taking nearly everything I could grab, I started with basic photography, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. Armed with more experience, photography was definitely the focus of my passion.

After graduation with a BFA in Photography, I've spent my time enjoying creating artwork, working on interesting projects, and continuing every day as a student of life, engaging innew experiences wherever they may come from.
